The Tube Eccentric Reducer is a stainless steel tube fitting that transitions between two different tube outer diameters while maintaining one flat side at the larger- and smaller-bore ends. As clearly shown in the image, the fitting tapers from a larger diameter at one end to a smaller diameter at the other, with the offset bore creating a distinctive flat side along one edge. This characteristic distinguishes it from the concentric reducer and determines its hydraulic performance in horizontal tube installations.

Supplied in Satin Finish and available exclusively in Grade 316 stainless steel, the range covers reduction combinations from 19.05 × 12.7mm through to 203.2 × 152.4mm, providing broad coverage across the standard tube outside diameter series. The satin finish delivers a smooth, consistent surface suited to hygienic process tube systems where surface quality, cleanability, and appearance all contribute to compliance and performance. Installed with the flat side up, the eccentric reducer allows gases to pass freely toward vent points, preventing airlock formation in horizontal tube runs. Installed with the flat side down, it maintains a full bore below the centreline at pump suctions, protecting against vapour ingress and cavitation. Grade 316 with molybdenum provides superior corrosion resistance for food processing, pharmaceutical, dairy, and marine tube applications.
