Radiused Support

The Support Radiused is a stainless steel wall-mounted handrail bracket designed to support a round handrail tube away from a wall surface, featuring a radiused or curved tube-receiving saddle at the outer end of the bracket arm that cradles the handrail tube in a smooth, curved profile. As clearly shown in the image photographed from a three-quarter angle that presents the full bracket assembly in excellent detail the fitting consists of three distinct elements clearly visible in the image: a flat, circular wall-fixing disc plate at the left rear, sitting flush against the wall surface and providing the anchor fixing interface; a straight horizontal arm projecting perpendicularly outward from the centre of the disc plate; and at the outer end of the arm, a distinctly U-shaped or rectangular open saddle clearly visible as a squared, open-top channel or cradle into which the handrail tube rests and is retained. The highly reflective mirror finish is immediately apparent across all surfaces of the fitting. The disc plate, the arm, and the saddle are all bright and specular, and the flat fixing tab or plate on top of the saddle is clearly visible, providing the clamping or fixing point that retains the handrail tube within the saddle once positioned.

Supplied in Mirror Finish and available in Grade 316 stainless steel, the support radius is designed to complement mirror-polished round tube handrail systems where a highly reflective, premium surface finish is maintained consistently throughout every component of the installation, including all wall support brackets.

The open saddle at the outer end of the arm provides a stable, close-fitting cradle for the handrail tube, supporting it securely against vertical loading while allowing the tube to be placed into and removed from the bracket without dismantling fixed clamps. The circular disc wall plate provides a clean, symmetrical wall face appearance and a reliable fixing interface for the wall anchor hardware. Grade 316 stainless steel provides superior chloride corrosion resistance for outdoor, coastal, marine, and pool surround handrail installations where a mirror finish and maximum corrosion resistance are both required.
