The BSP Camlock Type C is a precision-engineered quick-release coupling fitting designed to provide a fast, secure, and tool-free connection between a hosetail and a corresponding camlock coupling. Manufactured from 316-grade stainless steel, this Type C camlock fitting delivers outstanding corrosion resistance, reliable coupling performance, and long-lasting durability, making it a dependable quick-connect solution across a wide range of industrial, marine, chemical, and general process fluid transfer applications.
As clearly visible in the product image, the Type C camlock fitting presents a compact body comprising two distinct functional sections. The upper section features a plain hosetail spigot, clearly visible projecting from the top of the fitting body as a smooth, barbed, or ridged cylindrical tube end designed to be inserted directly into a flexible hose and secured in place with a hose clamp or ferrule, providing a reliable hose-to-fitting connection on the hose side of the assembly. The lower section of the fitting incorporates the camlock coupler body, featuring two extended cam arms with large retaining rings clearly visible on either side of the fitting in the image. These cam arms pivot outward to allow engagement with a mating camlock adaptor and lock securely into place when closed, providing a fast, reliable, and tool-free coupling connection that can be quickly released by opening the cam arms when disconnection is required.
The Type C configuration Hosetail to Camlock makes this fitting particularly well-suited for connecting flexible hoses directly to camlock-equipped pipework, tanks, pumps, or transfer equipment, enabling efficient and repeated hose connection and disconnection during fluid transfer operations without the need for threaded engagement.
