The BSP Toe Nipple for Tube is a precision-machined pipe fitting designed to provide a threaded male BSP connection point at one end of a tube section, enabling a smooth and secure transition between plain tube and a BSP threaded piping system. Manufactured from 316-grade stainless steel, this toe nipple for tube delivers outstanding corrosion resistance, reliable threaded engagement, and long-lasting structural integrity, making it a dependable transition fitting across a wide range of industrial, marine, chemical, and general process piping applications.
As clearly visible in the product image, the fitting presents a distinctive profile that immediately distinguishes it from a standard toe nipple. The lower section of the fitting body features male BSP threads machined around its outer circumference, providing the threaded connection interface for engagement with a corresponding female BSP threaded fitting, valve, or port. The upper section of the fitting body, however, transitions into a smooth, plain, and slightly flared or bevelled tube end that is designed to be welded directly onto the end of a corresponding tube, creating a permanent and secure tube-to-thread transition connection. This weld-end profile is clearly visible at the top of the fitting in the image, with the smooth, unthreaded surface and slightly outward-flared form characteristic of a fitting designed for tube welding rather than threaded engagement at that end.
This tube-end to BSP thread configuration makes the fitting particularly valuable in piping systems where plain stainless steel tube sections need to be connected into a BSP threaded network, providing a neat, strong, and reliable transition point between the two connection types.
The BSP Toe Nipple for Tube is available across nine nominal bore sizes from NB15 (1/2 inch) through to NB100 (4 inch), ensuring compatibility with a comprehensive range of standard tube and BSP pipe sizes used across industrial, process, and marine piping installations.
316-grade stainless steel provides superior resistance to corrosion, pitting, and chemical attack for reliable long-term performance in demanding environments.
