The BSP Toe Nipple is a precision-machined pipe fitting designed to provide a short male-to-male threaded inline connection within a BSP threaded piping system, featuring male BSP threads running continuously along the full length of the fitting body from end to end. Manufactured from 316-grade stainless steel, this toe nipple delivers outstanding corrosion resistance, reliable threaded engagement, and long-lasting structural integrity, making it a dependable connecting fitting across a wide range of industrial, marine, chemical, and general process piping applications.
As clearly visible in the product image, the toe nipple presents a compact cylindrical body with male BSP threads machined along its entire outer surface from one end to the other, with no unthreaded barrel section between the two threaded ends. This fully threaded construction, where threads run continuously along the complete length of the fitting, is the defining characteristic of a toe nipple and distinguishes it from a barrel nipple, which retains an unthreaded centre section. The precisely formed, coarse thread profile visible across the full body length in the image ensures reliable and consistent engagement with corresponding female threaded fittings on both connection interfaces simultaneously.
The BSP Toe Nipple is available across three length variants: Plain, 100mm, and 150mm, providing flexibility to accommodate different installation spacing and reach requirements between connected fittings. However, not all nominal bore sizes are available across all three length options. The plain variant is available across the full range from NB6 (1/8 inch) through to NB150 (6 inch), while the 100mm length option is available for selected sizes, including NB15, NB20, NB25, NB32, and NB50, and the 150mm length is available for NB15, NB25, NB40, and NB50 only, as indicated in the product table.
316-grade stainless steel provides superior resistance to corrosion, pitting, and chemical attack, making this toe nipple an excellent specification choice for demanding marine, coastal, chemical, and offshore piping environments where long-term material integrity is essential.
