Bossed Tube Clamp

The Bossed Tube Clamp is a stainless steel single-bolt tube fixing clamp that incorporates a raised boss a threaded cylindrical projection on the top of the clamp body, providing an integral secondary attachment point directly on the clamp for connecting additional components such as handrail brackets, secondary tube supports, wire rope fittings, or mounting hardware without the need for separate fitting hardware. As clearly shown in the image, the fitting presents a curved stainless steel band that wraps around the tube circumference the two ends of the band meeting at a single bolt and nut assembly clearly visible on the right side, with a hinge or loop feature on the upper left forming the pivot point. Rising prominently from the very top of the clamp arch is the raised cylindrical boss a short, upward-projecting stud with a threaded bore which is immediately and unambiguously visible at the top centre of the fitting in the image and is the single feature that most distinguishes the bossed tube clamp from the plain tube clamp.

Supplied in 2B Finish and manufactured in Grade 304 stainless steel, the range covers thirteen tube outside diameter sizes 12.7mm, 19.05mm, 25.4mm, 31.75mm, 38.1mm, 50.8mm, 63.5mm, 76.2mm, 101.6mm, 127mm, 152.4mm, 203.2mm, and 254mm providing comprehensive coverage from small-bore precision tube through to very large-diameter tube and pipe. The range is offered in Plain configuration across all thirteen sizes, and in H/Duty (Heavy Duty) at 101.6mm only, providing enhanced structural clamping performance at that specific diameter for applications subject to elevated loads or vibration.

The threaded boss at the top of the clamp body allows secondary components to be screwed or bolted directly onto the clamp without welding or additional hardware, significantly reducing installation complexity in multi-component tube assemblies. The single-bolt clamp design provides quick, simple tube installation and adjustment across the full size range, with the 2B finish and Grade 304 material delivering reliable corrosion resistance for general architectural, industrial, and outdoor service environments.
