Tang Tube Clamp

The Tang Tube Clamp is a stainless steel tube fixing clamp that incorporates a flat, elongated tang or arm projecting from one side of the clamp body, providing an integrated surface-mounting base that allows the clamp and its supported tube to be fixed directly to a structural surface, wall, beam, or framework without requiring a separate bracket or mounting plate. As clearly shown in the image, the fitting presents a curved stainless steel band that wraps around the tube circumference, similar in profile to the plain tube clamp, with a single bolt and nut assembly visible on the right side closing the clamp around the tube, and a hinge or loop feature on the upper left forming the pivot point opposite the bolt. The defining feature immediately visible in the image is the long, flat stainless steel tang, a slender, straight arm extending horizontally to the right from the bolt end of the clamp, projecting well beyond the clamp body to provide the extended mounting flange that gives this fitting its name and its primary functional advantage.

Supplied in 2B Finish and manufactured in Grade 304 stainless steel, the range covers nine tube outside diameter sizes: 19.05mm, 25.4mm, 31.75mm, 38.1mm, 50.8mm, 63.5mm, 76.2mm, 101.6mm, and 152.4mm, spanning the standard range of tube outside diameters most commonly used in handrail support, pipe mounting, and general tube fixing applications.

The elongated tang visible in the image can be drilled, slotted, or welded to the mounting surface at the required fixing point, providing a stable, flat, full-contact mounting base that distributes the fixing load evenly against the structural surface. This integrated mounting geometry makes the tang tube clamp particularly well-suited to installations where the tube must be fixed close to and parallel to a wall or structural member, eliminating the need for a separate wall plate in a compact, single-component fixing solution. The 2B finish and Grade 304 construction provide reliable corrosion resistance across general architectural, industrial, and outdoor tube support applications.
