The ANSI 150 Flange – Tube / Pipe is a stainless steel flat plate flange manufactured to the ANSI/ASME B16.5 Class 150 pressure rating and dimensional standard, designed to create a bolted, gasketed flanged connection at the end of a stainless steel tube or pipe for use in process, industrial, and infrastructure piping systems specified to the globally recognised ANSI flange standard. As clearly shown in the image, a compact, elevated-angle photograph of a single flange that presents the flat face, central bore, and bolt hole pattern clearly in a single view, the fitting presents a flat, circular disc plate with a central bore through which the tube or pipe end is welded, and four evenly spaced countersunk bolt holes arranged in a square pattern around the plate face. The smooth, satin-finished flat face and the consistent plate geometry are clearly visible, and the compact, relatively low-profile plate thickness of this Class 150 flange is evident at the plate edge, reflecting the section appropriate for the Class 150 pressure rating at this size.

Supplied in Satin Finish and available exclusively in Grade 316 stainless steel, the range covers eleven tube outside diameter sizes 25.4mm, 31.75mm, 38.1mm, 50.4mm, 63.5mm, 76.2mm, 101.4mm, 127mm, 152.4mm, 203.2mm, and 254mm providing comprehensive coverage of the standard tube and pipe outside diameters most commonly used in ANSI-specified process and industrial piping systems.

The ANSI B16.5 Class 150 dimensional standard ensures full interchangeability with the extensive global installed base of Class 150 flanged valves, pumps, vessels, heat exchangers, and pipeline fittings from international manufacturers, making this flange an essential product for Australian projects incorporating internationally sourced process equipment or systems designed to American and international engineering standards. The flange is welded to the tube or pipe end during fabrication, with the central bore matched to the tube’s outside diameter. Grade 316 stainless steel with its molybdenum content provides superior resistance to chloride pitting and crevice corrosion, making this flange the standard specification for food processing, pharmaceutical, chemical, offshore, marine, and coastal process piping installations where the ANSI 150 standard and maximum corrosion resistance are both required.
