The Flush Joiner In Line is a stainless steel internal tube joiner designed to connect two handrail tube sections end-to-end in a straight, continuous line, creating a seamless joint with no external projection or visible hardware on the exterior surface of the assembled handrail. As clearly shown in the image, the fitting presents a short, solid cylindrical body with a smooth, consistently circular outer profile and two clearly visible circumferential grooves running around the body, one positioned near each end of the fitting, which serve as the retention channels that engage with the fixing screws or grub screws driven through the tube wall to lock the joiner firmly within each tube bore. The mirror-polished surface of the fitting body is bright and highly reflective throughout, with the two grooves presenting as crisp, clean recessed lines against the polished cylindrical surface.
Supplied in Mirror Finish and available exclusively in Grade 316 stainless steel at 38mm and 50mm tube outside diameters, the flush joiner in line is the precision connection fitting for handrail installations where mirror-polished tube and fittings are specified throughout, and where maintaining a consistent, high-quality reflective surface finish at every joint along the handrail run is essential to the overall visual standard of the completed installation.
Installation is straightforward; the cylindrical joiner body is inserted equally into the bores of both tube ends to be joined, with the circumferential grooves aligned with the grub screw holes in each tube end. Grub screws are then driven through the tube wall and into the grooves, locking the joiner in position and holding both tube ends firmly in alignment. Once installed, the exterior of the assembled handrail presents a completely smooth, uninterrupted mirror-polished surface at the joint, with no visible hardware, weld lines, or surface discontinuities. Grade 316 stainless steel ensures superior resistance to chloride corrosion, making this fitting well-suited to outdoor, coastal, marine, and pool surround handrail installations where long-term surface quality and corrosion resistance are both required.
