Square Knock In Cap

The Square Base Plate & Cover is a stainless steel handrail post base fitting consisting of a square structural base plate combined with a decorative square cover, designed to mount a square hollow section tube post to a floor or mounting surface while providing a clean, finished appearance at the base connection. As clearly shown in the image, the fitting presents a smooth, flat-topped square cover with a consistent satin finish across its flat top face and four vertical sides. The cover sits over the base plate and post base to conceal all structural fixing hardware beneath a neat, flush-faced square stainless steel enclosure. The four sides of the cover have visible horizontal ribbing or grip features along their lower edges, which assist with secure fitting and retention of the cover over the base plate below.

Supplied in Satin Finish and available in two square tube outside diameter sizes, 38.1mm and 50.8mm, the square base plate and cover are designed to suit the most commonly specified square hollow section tube sizes in commercial and architectural handrail and balustrade systems. The square profile of both the base plate and cover is matched to the square tube post above, providing a consistent, flush geometric transition from post to base that presents a clean, sharp-edged contemporary appearance at floor level.
