Sheet 2B Finish

Stainless steel sheet with a 2B finish is the most widely produced and commonly specified mill finish for flat stainless steel products, offering a smooth, moderately reflective surface that serves as an excellent base for a broad range of downstream fabrication, processing, and end-use applications. The 2B finish is achieved through a cold rolling process followed by annealing and a light skin pass through polished rollers, resulting in a uniform, slightly reflective appearance with a smooth texture.

Unlike brushed or polished finishes, it does not carry a directional grain pattern, making it suitable for applications where a neutral surface appearance is preferred or where the sheet will be further processed by painting, coating, forming, deep drawing, or polishing after supply.
