Candy Cane Bend

The Candy Cane Bend is a stainless steel tube fitting that combines a smooth 180-degree arc with a long straight leg extending from the outlet end, producing the distinctive hook-and-tail profile clearly visible in the image, the elongated straight section running horizontally from the base, curving continuously upward and over through 180 degrees, with a shorter outlet leg at the top. This characteristic shape makes the candy cane bend immediately recognisable and functionally distinct from a standard 180-degree return bend, with the extended leg providing both the directional return and a substantial straight tube section for connection, positioning, and drainage in a single fitting.

All three variants in this range are supplied with a 1.5mm wall in Satin Finish and Grade 316 stainless steel, and are available in two tube outside diameter sizes, 38.1mm and 50.8mm across all configurations.

The 180-degree tube extended leg bend is the standard candy cane configuration, with the long leg and 180-degree return arc as shown in the image. The 180 Deg Extended Leg 37" Up Bend features the same extended-leg geometry but with the outlet leg angled upward at 37 degrees relative to the bend plane, allowing the outlet to exit at a defined upward angle for installations where the return connection must be elevated. The 180 Deg Extended Leg 37" Down Bend mirrors this configuration with the outlet leg angled downward at 37 degrees, directing the outlet toward a lower connection point and promoting natural gravity drainage from the bend, a practical advantage in hygienic process systems where complete drainability is required.

The satin finish and Grade 316 stainless steel make all three variants well-suited to food processing, dairy, pharmaceutical, and marine tube installations where surface quality, cleanability, and superior corrosion resistance are essential.
