The Face Angle Ring is a stainless steel annular fitting, as clearly shown in the image, where the fitting presents a flat ring with a central aperture, a uniform outer circumference, and a subtly angled or radiused outer profile that gives the ring its characteristic cross-sectional geometry. This ring fitting serves as a connection face and structural reinforcement component at the end of a tube, providing a robust, machined interface that enables the tube to be joined to flanges, equipment nozzles, clamp connections, or other flat-faced connection systems through a bolted or clamped assembly.
Supplied in Mill Finish and available exclusively in Grade 316 stainless steel, the range is divided into two distinct configurations: Face and Angle, each available across separate size ranges. The Face configuration is available in smaller tube sizes: 12.7mm, 19.05mm, 25.4mm, 31.75mm, 38.1mm, 50.8mm, and 63.5mm, covering the small to mid-bore tube range commonly used in instrumentation, process, and hygienic tube systems. The Angle configuration is available in larger sizes: 76.2mm, 101.6mm, 127mm, 152.4mm, 203.2mm, 254mm, and 305.2mm, addressing the mid to large bore tube range used in process vessels, industrial tube circuits, and large-diameter tube assemblies. The two configurations are mutually exclusive within the size range. Face rings cover the smaller sizes, and angle rings cover the larger sizes, reflecting the different structural and connection geometry requirements at each end of the diameter spectrum.
The mill finish is the standard surface condition for this welded fabrication component, suitable for industrial process tube applications where the ring is incorporated into a welded tube end assembly. Grade 316 stainless steel provides superior resistance to chloride corrosion and chemical attack, making face and angle rings well-suited to food processing, pharmaceutical, chemical, marine, and offshore tube system applications where robust, long-lasting connection face integrity is essential.
