The Hose Tails Single Rolled is a stainless steel hose connector fitting designed to be inserted into the bore of a flexible hose, providing a secure, reliable connection between the hose and an adjacent tube, fitting, or process component. As clearly shown in the image, the fitting presents a smooth, plain cylindrical shank body with a single circumferential rolled bead positioned toward the lower end of the shank, and a single, rounded ridge formed by cold-rolling a uniform bead into the tube wall after the shank is cut to length. Above the bead, the shank surface is completely smooth and uninterrupted, while the bead itself forms a subtle but positive retention ridge that grips the inner wall of the flexible hose under hose clamp or crimp ferrule load.

The single rolled bead is the defining retention feature of this fitting when the flexible hose is pushed onto the smooth shank, and a hose clamp or crimp ferrule is applied over the hose and shank, the hose material is compressed onto the shank surface and locked behind the rolled bead, preventing pull-out under operating pressure. The smooth, rounded bead profile is gentler on the hose bore than sharper multi-barb or machined-rib alternatives, reducing the risk of hose bore damage during installation and making single rolled hose tails particularly well-suited to softer hose materials, including silicone, EPDM, and food-grade rubber hoses commonly used in hygienic process applications.

Supplied in Satin Finish and available exclusively in Grade 316 stainless steel, the range covers tube outside diameter sizes of 25.4mm, 31.75mm, 38.1mm, 50.8mm, 63.5mm, 76.2mm, and 101.6mm, spanning the mid to large bore hose sizes most commonly used in food processing, dairy, pharmaceutical, and marine flexible hose assemblies. The satin finish and Grade 316 material provide superior corrosion resistance, hygienic surface quality, and full compatibility with food-contact and pharmaceutical material requirements.
