The Tube Tee 90 Degree is a stainless steel tube fitting that creates a perpendicular branch connection in a tube system, with all three equal-diameter outlets arranged at right angles to each other, two forming the in-line main run and one branching perpendicularly at 90 degrees. As shown in the image, the fitting presents a clean, smooth T-shaped body with a polished satin exterior, consistent wall thickness throughout, and a well-radiused internal junction at the branch point where the perpendicular outlet meets the main run, producing a smooth, efficient internal flow transition with no abrupt internal edges or sharp corners that could cause turbulence or product entrapment.
Supplied with a 1.6mm wall in Satin Finish and available exclusively in Grade 316 stainless steel, the range covers tube outside diameters from 12.7mm through to 254mm. Standard sizes of 12.7mm, 19.05mm, 25.4mm, 31.75mm, 38.1mm, 50.8mm, 63.5mm, 76.2mm, 101.6mm, and 127mm are all supplied at the standard 1.6mm wall thickness. The three largest sizes, 152.4 × 1.6mm, 203.2 × 2mm, and 254 × 2mm, note the specific wall thickness for each diameter, with the 203.2mm and 254mm sizes carrying a heavier 2mm wall to suit the structural requirements of larger-diameter tube assemblies.
The satin finish delivers a smooth, consistent surface that is compatible with hygienic cleaning protocols, including CIP and SIP, ensuring that the fitting meets the surface quality and cleanability requirements of food processing, dairy, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology process systems. Grade 316 stainless steel, with its molybdenum content, provides superior resistance to chloride pitting and crevice corrosion, making this fitting the standard material specification for demanding process environments, including marine, coastal, and chemical installations.
