BSP Spring Check Valve

The BSP Spring Check Valve is a stainless steel non-return valve with British Standard Pipe threaded end connections, using a spring-loaded internal mechanism to prevent reverse flow in piping systems. As clearly shown in the image, the valve presents a compact, inline body profile with BSP female threaded connections visible at both the left inlet and right outlet ends, and the characteristic multi-piece body construction is clearly distinguishable from the visible joint flanges on both sides of the central valve body, consistent with the 3-piece body configuration that is the primary offering across this product range. The valve body is compact, symmetrical, and low-profile, with the spring-loaded internal check mechanism entirely enclosed within the valve body between the two threaded end connections.

Available exclusively in Grade 316 stainless steel, the range covers seven nominal bore sizes from 10NB (3/8") through to 50NB (2") and is offered in two body configurations. The 2 Piece configuration is available at 15NB (1/2") and 25NB (1"), only the two most commonly specified sizes for compact, space-efficient spring check valve installations. The 3 Piece configuration is available across all seven sizes: 10NB, 15NB, 20NB, 25NB, 32NB, 40NB, and 50NB, providing the broadest size coverage and the added advantage of a fully demountable body that allows the internal spring and check disc to be accessed, inspected, and replaced without removing the valve end connections from the pipeline.

Unlike swing check valves that rely on gravity for closure, the spring mechanism provides a positive, immediate closure force that acts independently of valve orientation, making spring check valves equally effective in horizontal, vertical, and inclined pipe installations. The defined spring cracking pressure prevents valve chatter from minor pressure pulsations. Grade 316 stainless steel with molybdenum provides superior corrosion resistance for chemical, food-grade, marine, and pharmaceutical service environments across all available sizes and body configurations.
