The Butterfly Valve is a stainless steel quarter-turn flow control and isolation valve where a disc mounted on a central shaft rotates 90 degrees to open or close the valve bore, providing compact, lightweight, and efficient flow control. As clearly shown in the image photographed from a three-quarter angle that reveals the full valve assembly in excellent detail the valve presents its wafer-style body with the disc shaft and the two protruding shaft ends visible at the top and bottom of the slim, disc-shaped body, and most distinctively, the lever handle mechanism is prominently visible at the right side of the fitting a shaped, curved stainless steel lever with an integrated locking plate showing multiple notched positions that allow the handle to be locked at defined angular positions between fully open and fully closed, enabling the valve to be set and held at intermediate positions for flow regulation as well as at the fully open and closed extremes.
Available exclusively in Grade 316 stainless steel, the range covers six pipe sizes: 1", 1.1/2", 2", 2.1/2", 3", and 4" and is offered in two configurations. The M/Male configuration available across all six sizes features male connection ends suitable for specific connection arrangements. The Plain configuration is also available across all six sizes and provides a standard wafer body for installation between flanges using through-bolts.
Both configurations are available across the complete 1" to 4" size range, providing specifiers with full flexibility to select the connection configuration most appropriate for their system design at any of the six available pipe sizes. The slim, wafer-profile body minimises installed face-to-face length and weight in the pipeline, and the lever handle with its locking notch plate provides positive, lockable flow control at any required position. Grade 316 stainless steel with molybdenum provides superior corrosion resistance for food, chemical, marine, and general industrial process applications.
