The 45-degree tube bend is a stainless steel tube fitting that redirects flow through a 45-degree direction change using a smooth, continuous curved body, as clearly shown in the image, where the fitting arcs gently from one end to the other in a consistent, uninterrupted sweep with no abrupt geometry changes or internal weld seams along the curve. The fitting presents a clean, satin-finished exterior along its full length, with a consistent circular cross-section maintained throughout the arc. This shallower deflection angle compared to a 90-degree bend produces lower pressure drop and a more gradual flow transition, making the 45-degree tube bend the preferred choice wherever hydraulic efficiency must be maintained through a directional change.
Supplied with a 1.6mm wall in Satin Finish, the standard 45 Deg Tube Bend is available in both Grade 304 and Grade 316 stainless steel. Grade 316 provides the broadest coverage, spanning from 19.05mm through to 203.2 × 2mm, including 31.75mm and 38.1mm sizes exclusive to Grade 316 and the 203.2 × 2mm size is also available only in Grade 316. Grade 304 covers 19.05mm through to 152.4 × 2mm. The larger diameters at 152.4mm and 203.2mm are noted with a 2mm wall thickness, reflecting the heavier wall specified at these sizes.
Also featured is the 45 Deg Zero Tang Tube Bend, a configuration without straight tangent sections at either end of the bend, where the curved arc begins and ends directly at the tube face. This zero-tang design minimises the overall installed length of the bend in the tube system, making it particularly useful in compact tube layouts where installation space is limited. Available in sizes from 44.45mm through to 114.3mm, including 44.45mm, 48.3mm, 50.8mm, 57mm, 63.5mm, 76.2mm, 88.9mm, 101.6mm, and 114.3mm, the zero tang bend covers a range of tube diameters suited to automotive, exhaust, industrial, and process tube applications where a compact, space-efficient 45-degree direction change is required.
