Round Base Plate & Cover

The Round Base Plate & Cover is a two-piece stainless steel handrail post base fitting consisting of a structural base plate and a decorative cover, both clearly visible in the image. The base plate shown on the right is a flat circular plate with a central aperture to accept the tube post and evenly spaced fixing holes around the perimeter for bolting or anchoring to the floor or mounting surface. The cover shown on the left is a smooth, curved bowl-shaped component with a domed outer profile and a central aperture that fits over the tube post and sits over the base plate, concealing the fixing hardware and structural connection below and presenting a clean, rounded appearance at the base of the post.

The product is available in three supply configurations. Cover & Plate the complete two-piece assembly of base plate and decorative cover together is available across the full size range of 12.7mm, 19.05mm, 25.4mm, 31.75mm, 38.1mm, 50.8mm, 63.5mm, and 76.2mm, covering the standard range of round handrail tube outside diameters. Only the decorative bowl cover without the base plate is available in 38.1mm and 50.8mm, for installations where the base plate is already in place or sourced separately. Mirror finish, a high-polish reflective surface, is available in 50.8mm only, offering a premium visual option for installations requiring a bright, reflective base finish to complement mirror-polished handrail tubing and fittings.

The curved, domed bowl profile of the cover not only conceals the fixing hardware beneath but also provides a smooth, rounded transition between the tube post and the floor surface, eliminating visible bolts, anchors, and structural hardware from the finished installation and delivering a professional, high-quality appearance at every post base throughout the handrail or balustrade system.
