The BSP 2 Piece Ball Valve is a stainless steel quarter-turn shut-off valve with British Standard Pipe threaded end connections, providing reliable, positive on/off flow control in fluid and gas handling systems. As clearly shown in the image, the valve presents a compact, two-piece body construction with BSP threaded connections visible at both the left inlet and right outlet ends, a lever handle at the top shown in the blue-handled open position with the handle aligned parallel to the valve body axis and two blue PTFE seat inspection plugs visible on the sides of the valve body at the ball chamber, which are the characteristic external features of the two-piece body design that allow the valve internals to be accessed without removing the valve from the pipeline.
Available exclusively in Grade 316 stainless steel, the range covers eleven nominal bore sizes from 8NB (1/4") through to 100NB (4") including 8NB, 10NB, 15NB, 20NB, 25NB, 32NB, 40NB, 50NB, 65NB, 80NB, and 100NB providing comprehensive coverage of the BSP threaded pipe size range most commonly used in process, industrial, and utility fluid handling systems.
The two-piece body construction splits the valve body into two sections bolted together around the ball and seat assembly, enabling the valve to be disassembled for ball cleaning, seat inspection, and internal maintenance without removing the valve body from the installed pipeline. The quarter-turn lever handle provides fast, positive actuation between the fully open and fully closed positions, with a single 90-degree rotation of the handle moving the ball from full-bore open to positive bubble-tight closed. The lever handle position provides immediate visual indication of valve status: handle parallel to the pipe axis indicates open, perpendicular indicates closed.
Grade 316 stainless steel with molybdenum provides superior resistance to chloride corrosion, making this valve well-suited to food and beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, marine, and general industrial flow control applications across the full size range.
