The Ferrule Seal is a precision sealing component designed to provide a reliable, hygienic, and leak-free seal between mating ferrule faces in ferrule union assemblies used across hygienic and industrial piping systems. Available as standard in two material options, EPDM and Teflon, with Nitrile and Viton available on request, this ferrule seal is an essential consumable component in food processing, pharmaceutical, dairy, beverage, and other process industry piping applications where effective and hygienic sealing at pipe union connections is a critical requirement.
As clearly shown in the product image, multiple ferrule seals are displayed across a range of sizes, clearly illustrating both material variants side by side. The dark-coloured seals are consistent with EPDM material properties, while the white or pale seal visible in the image is consistent with Teflon material. Each seal presents a flat, ring-shaped profile with a smooth sealing face and a central open bore, designed to sit accurately between the flat mating faces of two opposing ferrule fittings. When the ferrule clamp is tightened around the assembly, the seal is compressed evenly between the ferrule faces to create a consistent and effective hygienic seal across the full circumference of the joint.
The availability of EPDM and Teflon as standard material options allows the seal to be selected based on the chemical compatibility and temperature requirements of the specific process application. EPDM provides excellent resistance to water, steam, and common cleaning chemicals used in food and beverage environments, while Teflon offers superior chemical inertness for more aggressive process applications. Nitrile and Viton options are additionally available on request for applications with specific compatibility requirements.
Both standard material options are available across a matching range of ten sizes 12mm, 19mm, 25mm, 31mm, 38mm, 51mm, 63mm, 76mm, 101mm, and 152mm ensuring precise compatibility with the full range of standard ferrule union diameters used across hygienic and industrial piping installations.
