The BSP F/F Elbow is a precision-engineered pipe fitting designed to change the direction of flow within a BSP threaded piping system, providing a female-to-female threaded connection at a specific angle. Manufactured from 316-grade stainless steel, this elbow fitting delivers outstanding corrosion resistance, reliable threaded engagement, and long-lasting structural integrity, making it a dependable directional fitting across a wide range of industrial, marine, chemical, and general process piping applications.
As clearly visible in the product image, the elbow fitting presents a curved body with two female BSP threaded bores one at each end positioned at an angle to one another. The smooth, polished surface finish and precisely machined internal threads visible at both openings are consistent with the high-quality properties of 316-grade stainless steel. The female-to-female thread configuration allows male threaded pipe ends, nipples, or other male BSP fittings to be connected directly into both ports of the elbow, providing a straightforward and secure directional change within the pipework layout.
The BSP F/F Elbow is available in two angle configurations, 45 degrees and 90 degrees, allowing selection of the appropriate elbow angle to suit the specific directional change required within the piping system layout. The 90-degree elbow is available across a comprehensive range of sizes from NB6 (1/8 inch) through to NB80 (3 inch), while the 45-degree elbow is available in selected sizes only specifically NB15 (1/2 inch), NB25 (1 inch), and NB40 (1 1/2 inch) as indicated in the product table.
316-grade stainless steel provides superior resistance to corrosion, pitting, and chemical attack, making this elbow fitting an excellent specification choice for demanding environments including marine, coastal, chemical processing, and offshore piping applications where long-term material integrity and reliable threaded performance are essential requirements.
