The BSP Camlock Type B is a precision-engineered quick-release coupling fitting designed to provide a fast, secure, and tool-free connection between a male BSP threaded pipe or fitting and a corresponding camlock coupling. Manufactured from 316-grade stainless steel, this Type B camlock fitting delivers outstanding corrosion resistance, reliable coupling performance, and long-lasting durability, making it a dependable quick-connect solution across a wide range of industrial, marine, chemical, and general process fluid transfer applications.
As clearly visible in the product image, the Type B camlock fitting presents a distinctive and immediately recognisable form comprising two key functional sections. The upper section features a male BSP threaded spigot, clearly visible projecting from the top of the fitting body, which provides the threaded connection interface that attaches directly to a corresponding female BSP threaded port, socket, or fitting on the pipeline or equipment side of the installation. The lower section of the fitting incorporates the camlock coupler body, featuring two extended cam arms with large retaining rings clearly visible on either side of the fitting in the image. These cam arms pivot outward to allow engagement with a mating camlock adaptor and lock securely into place when closed, providing a fast, reliable, and tool-free coupling connection that can be quickly released by opening the cam arms when disconnection is required.
