The BSP Camlock Type F is a precision-engineered quick-release coupling fitting designed to provide a fast, secure, and tool-free connection between a male BSP threaded pipe or fitting and a corresponding camlock coupler. Manufactured from 316-grade stainless steel, this Type F camlock fitting delivers outstanding corrosion resistance, reliable coupling performance, and long-lasting durability, making it a dependable quick-connect solution across a wide range of industrial, marine, chemical, and general process fluid transfer applications.
As clearly visible in the product image, the Type F camlock fitting presents a compact, vertically oriented body comprising two distinct functional sections. The upper section features a male BSP threaded spigot, clearly visible projecting from the top of the fitting body with a precisely machined external thread profile designed to engage directly with a corresponding female BSP threaded port, socket, or fitting on the pipeline or equipment side of the installation. A small lug or tab is visible on the side of the upper body section, which is characteristic of the Type F adaptor design and assists with handling and orientation during installation. The lower section of the fitting incorporates the camlock adaptor body with a smooth, stepped, and slightly flared exterior profile that provides the male camlock interface for engagement with a corresponding camlock coupler body. As with all camlock adaptor-side fittings, no cam arms are present on this fitting, as the locking cam mechanism is housed on the mating coupler side of the assembly.
