The 90 Deg Tube Bend is a stainless steel tube fitting that redirects flow through a full 90-degree direction change using a smooth, continuous curved body, as clearly shown in the image, where the fitting sweeps in a consistent, generous arc from inlet to outlet without any abrupt geometry changes or internal weld seams. This uninterrupted curved flow path produces lower pressure drop and reduced turbulence at the direction change compared to fabricated elbow alternatives, making tube bends the preferred fitting wherever flow efficiency and hygienic surface continuity are both important.
Supplied with a 1.6mm wall in Satin Finish, the range is available across three columns: Grade 304, Grade 316, and Grade 316 1XR, with a single-radius extended bend configuration available in selected sizes. Grade 316 offers the broadest size coverage, spanning from 9.53mm through to 254 × 2mm, including small precision diameters of 9.53mm, 12.7mm, and 15.88mm that are exclusive to the 316 grade. Grade 304 begins at 19.05mm and extends through to 254 × 2mm, covering the majority of the range with the exception of the three smallest sizes. The 316 1XR configuration is available at selected sizes 25.4mm, 38.1mm, 50.8mm, 63.5mm, 76.2mm, and 101.6mm, offering a longer centreline radius than the standard bend for applications requiring an even more gradual direction change and further reduced flow resistance.
Larger sizes at 152.4mm, 203.2mm, and 254mm are noted with their specific 2mm wall thickness, reflecting the heavier wall required at these diameters, while the 88.9mm size in Grade 304 carries a non-standard 1.5mm wall thickness as indicated. The satin finish and Grade 316 availability make this fitting well-suited to food processing, dairy, pharmaceutical, and marine tube installations where hygienic surface quality and superior chloride corrosion resistance are essential.
