The Hose Tails Machined is a precision-turned stainless steel hose connector fitting designed to be inserted into the bore of a flexible hose to create a secure, reliable hose-to-tube or hose-to-fitting connection. As clearly shown in the image, the fitting presents a cylindrical body with multiple circumferential machined ribs or barbs running along the full length of the shank, evenly spaced, parallel ridges of consistent depth that are precisely formed by the machining process to grip the inner wall of the flexible hose when it is pushed onto the shank and clamped or crimped in position.

The multiple machined ribs visible along the shank body are the defining feature of this fitting, distinguishing it from single-rolled and double-rolled hose tail variants. Each rib presents a sharp, positive retention edge that bites into the inner bore surface of the hose under clamping load, creating multiple independent grip points along the full engagement length of the shank. This multi-rib retention geometry distributes the pull-out load across the entire shank length rather than concentrating it at one or two points, providing excellent resistance to hose pull-off under operating pressure and mechanical tension.

Supplied in Satin Finish and available exclusively in Grade 316 stainless steel, the range covers four tube outside diameter sizes 9.53mm, 12.7mm, 15.88mm, and 19.05mm, addressing the small-bore hose sizes most commonly used in hygienic process, food, dairy, pharmaceutical, and marine flexible hose assemblies. The precision-machined construction ensures consistent dimensional accuracy across all sizes, with the rib profile, shank diameter, and overall length held to tight tolerances to guarantee a repeatable, reliable fit to the corresponding flexible hose bore.
